Happy days! The perfect bowl of noodle soup is back in town and just in time for wet season in Ubud. New location, bigger, brighter and with the same smiles and level of flawless flavours in every bowl.
Think handmade noodles perfected at 2am each day, pillowy silky wontons, homemade broths, everything made lovingly from scratch and all less than 5 bucks a bowl. Look for sunshiny yellow, a happy husband and wife team working the pans and a tiny menu. Beat the noodle obsessed queues and come early before they sell out.
Their new special crispy chicken with a spicy mayo and slaw is unmissable. But when we need to go all out with the spice - we head there on a Sunday for the curry special (word is out, so get there early as tables are in short supply). The curry pork noodles is a family recipe from Goa with a hint of Kashmiri spices. - its served only on Sunday. You have all week to build a craving! Eat in or take away - tidak plastik - bring your own containers.
