Exit stage right
It's been a rainy 1am start to get to Kuala Lumpur by car from Penang this morning. 5 hours later and KL airport is definitely not as I know it. Eerie. Empty. Closed. Vacuum sealed.
Until we meet again Malaysia - thanks for sheltering me in the storm. It's been quite the journey. Not one I wish to repeat any time soon. Immigration was a total breeze and I was the only person in the queue.
I have my lucky orange suitcase, a dozen masks and my fresh new face shield. It's the little things. To be honest I'm just keen to smell some jet fuel again.
